As a production planner, you are involved in many parts of the operation, which gives you a very good overall perspective. You quickly become a competence that is needed and respected. Your Role

If you have experience in production planning and planning systems, that is certainly an advantage, but if you have ambition, it is also perfectly fine to build your competence from the ground up. Are you structured, enjoy planning, putting puzzles together, and interacting with other people? Then we give you all the opportunities to develop into a skilled planner.

A production planner is the spider in the web and receives both great trust and mandate.

You will be part of complex forecasting, planning, and follow-up of production. This includes developing and setting processes and working methods within production planning, in the interfaces with project planning and supply chain, as well as production line functions.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage production plans to achieve high efficiency in production.
• Follow up, optimize, and adjust production plans.
• Coordinate with project management, production management, material supply, and logistics.
• Analyze and define potential future bottlenecks in machinery and human resources.
• Develop and improve methods for production planning.

You will report to the Section Manager for Production Planning.

Business travel may occur within Sweden.

Your Profile

Those who have succeeded well have an academic education or equivalent, but if you are engaged, structured, and have the ability to see connections in logical flows, that goes a long way.

We would like you to have a university/YH/KY degree in production planning or equivalent and/or a few years of work experience from the above-mentioned tasks.

We want you to have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

• Work experience from a similar role.
• Knowledge/experience of working with MPS/ERM and MS Office.
• Knowledge/experience of Lean Production, 6σ, and/or WCM.
• Experience working in production, preferably from larger industrial companies.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
